Description

The Project Manager is the communications hub, a prioritizer, a researcher, a presenter, and is responsible for implementing initiatives and enhancements that lead to the ultimate success of the project assigned.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with various departments and cross functional teams including software development, manufacturing and product development.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide project management direction and guidance to project teams, adhering to proven project management methodologies including Agile Scrum methodologies and processes
Define and manage the project charter, budget, scope and project management plan
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
Oversee operational management of project resources
Review and provide input on project documentation
Establish performance measures for project members and provide meaningful and timely feedback.
Collaborate with resource / functional managers to effectively resource projects and on the review and analysis of key business processes relating to their project
Recommend strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
Develop and support innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business that align with system architecture and strategic goals
Provide regular updates and information to project stakeholders regarding project progress and emerging issue

Requirements:

University Degree in a an analytical discipline and/or computer science
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Certified Scrum Master designation an asset
Excellent skills in project management and planning, using tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA etc.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with proven leadership, coaching, mentoring, and people development skills (e.g ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve extraordinary results)
Exemplary communications skills specifically in communicating complex/technical information to a wide audience
Analytical mind with problem solving skills. Able to sift through company and market wide data to determine new products / improvements to current products.
Understanding of building online brands and generating inbound traffic.
