Job Description:

Transat is looking for a curious and energetic
Expert digital performance analyst to join its e-commerce team.


The incumbent will be responsible for contributing to the implementation of analytics as well as web and app data collection to support online marketing, digital customer journey optimization and digital communications campaigns.


Thanks to his mastery of analytics platforms and web tracking technologies, as well as his ability to synthesize data, he contributes to the implementation of measurement strategies, develops technical specifications for analytics integration, and produces reports and analyses to meet the specific needs of our customer groups.

  • Contribute to the implementation and configuration of our analytics platform and data collection tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) as well as the implementation of various advertising platform pixels (Facebook Pixel, TikTok, Snapchat, Floodlight, etc).
  • Develop custom JavaScript codes and write code integration specifications for the implementation of our data layer and support the data collection plan.
  • Ensure the integrity and availability of analytical data by performing quality control and testing on existing and new implementations.
  • Develop and design reports and dashboards using a variety of data sources and presentation tools such as Looker Studio and PowerBI to meet user needs.
  • Analyze and interpret website, mobile app and store data to understand the complete customer journey.
  • Write SQL queries to transform data and create datasets in data warehouses (BigQuery) to answer business questions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for implementations.
  • Support various projects, teams and customers by providing recommendations and encouraging best practices in data analysis and analytics.
  • Participate in the improvement of the numerical analysis and tagging process, in conjunction with our analytical partners and internal IT team.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or marketing;
  • Minimum of 35 years experience in web analytics;
  • Excellent knowledge of analytics tools, data collection, ad pixels and their APIs (Google Analytics GA4, Google Tag Manager, Facebook, etc.);
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, DOM element navigation;
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as DevTools;
  • Very good knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, PowerBI, Looker (an asset) or others;
  • Comfortable with the development cycle and agile methods
  • Strong interest in data and analysis;
  • Rigorous, meticulous, wellorganized;
  • Ability to solve complex problems;
  • Autonomous, resourceful and eager to learn new things every day;
  • Passionate about digital technologies;
  • Dynamic, inquisitive, selftaught, highly flexible and able to operate in a complex, constantly changing environment;
  • Experience with BigQuery, or other data warehouse, an asset;
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud, an asset;
  • Experience with Python or another programming language, an asset;
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, an asset;
  • Bilingual French, English
