Job Description:

We are currently searching for an
Intermediate Project Manager in our
Calgary office.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading a multidisciplinary project team to undertake major transportation projects.
Providing a leadership role in the preparation of designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents; as well as participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection.
Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases; managing existing clients and subconsultants; developing new clients.
Delivering projects on budget and within identified schedules.
Acting as the primary contact for all projectrelated client communications.
Monitoring, controlling, and reporting project status internally and externally.
Engaging in business development and leading & preparing technical and financial proposals.
Mentoring and coaching a team of Engineers and Technologists.

Job Requirements:

What you will bring:

Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited postsecondary institution.
Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA, or eligible for registration.
10+ years of progressive experience in Civil Engineering for public and private sector clients with a focus on the Transportation sector including 3+ years experience in Project Management.
Direct experience with Alberta Transportation or City of Calgary is an asset.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment with your team, as well as other disciplines, groups, and offices.
Experience with applicable industry software and project management tools (Microsoft Suite, BlueBeam Revu, Procore, Aconex, Dynamics 365, or similar).
Proven project management and business development experience.
Proven experience managing multidiscipline, medium to large projects ($1580 million construction costs) through design and construction phases.
Proven proactive approach to delivering projects that anticipates issues to avoid delays or claims and minimizes extra work costs.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills to deliver work within tight deadlines and schedules.
Proven ability to win work and effectively manage consulting scope changes is an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
