We are currently searching for an
Intermediate Project Manager in our
Calgary office.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a multidisciplinary project team to undertake major transportation projects.
- Providing a leadership role in the preparation of designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents; as well as participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and inspection.
- Advancing projects through the concept, design, and construction phases; managing existing clients and subconsultants; developing new clients.
- Delivering projects on budget and within identified schedules.
- Acting as the primary contact for all projectrelated client communications.
- Monitoring, controlling, and reporting project status internally and externally.
- Engaging in business development and leading & preparing technical and financial proposals.
- Mentoring and coaching a team of Engineers and Technologists.
Job Requirements:
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited postsecondary institution.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA, or eligible for registration.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Civil Engineering for public and private sector clients with a focus on the Transportation sector including 3+ years experience in Project Management.
- Direct experience with Alberta Transportation or City of Calgary is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment with your team, as well as other disciplines, groups, and offices.
- Experience with applicable industry software and project management tools (Microsoft Suite, BlueBeam Revu, Procore, Aconex, Dynamics 365, or similar).
- Proven project management and business development experience.
- Proven experience managing multidiscipline, medium to large projects ($1580 million construction costs) through design and construction phases.
- Proven proactive approach to delivering projects that anticipates issues to avoid delays or claims and minimizes extra work costs.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills to deliver work within tight deadlines and schedules.
- Proven ability to win work and effectively manage consulting scope changes is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
