Sweet Talk is brand new to Port Moody, having opened January 2024. Community, inclusivity, quality, and serving others are at the heart of our values. We are looking for a hard working, passionate, and driven individual to join our team.

Hiring Cafe manager

Requirements:

Min. 1 year management experience.
Min. 1 year barista experience.
Comfortable and capable in a high pace work environment.
Team oriented with the customer at the top of mind.

Duties:

Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Managing schedules/hiring and training staff.
Oversee daily operations of the café, including food production, bartending, and catering services
Create and maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both guests and staff

Skills:

Strong leadership and management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Problemsolving skills to address issues that may arise during operations
Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café
Proficiency in using pointofsale systems and other relevant software

Sweet Talk aims to become a vibrant community hub with strong culture that offers much more than just coffee and donuts.
