Job Purpose
This role holds a pivotal position in delivering exceptional education and fostering an immersive learning environment.
Beyond delivering lectures and refining the curriculum, this role aims to genuinely care for international students and newcomers to a new culture, country, and stage of life.
The primary focus is on aligning the curriculum seamlessly with industry requisites and trends while providing comprehensive support to those navigating a new cultural landscape and educational journey.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Create curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with program objectives.
- Evaluate student performance, offer constructive feedback, and contribute to their professional growth.
- Curriculum Enhancement: Collaborate with the academic team to review and refine existing curriculum materials. Incorporate contemporary practices, case studies, and industry insights to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and uptodate.
- Innovative Teaching Methods: Introduce innovative teaching methodologies, practical exercises, and realworld simulations to provide students with handson learning experiences that bridge theory and practice.
- Industry Integration: Forge partnerships with industry professionals and businesses to integrate practical knowledge and industry insights into the program through Field trips or having guest speakers. This includes organizing guest lectures, industry visits, and facilitating internships where applicable.
Legal status
Eligibility to live and work in Canada; undergo necessary background checks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a Business/ Admin related career and or 5+ work experience in Managerial roles in the industry
Bachelor's or master's degree in related field.
Experience
Substantial professional background in the industry or related roles; teaching/training roles performed are mandatory.
Experience as business owner or proven entrepreneur preferred
Knowledge of current trends in management and the industry.
Experience in hybrid or online delivery.
Skills and abilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Technological Proficiency:
Utilizing technology for teaching and resources effectively.
Technology proficiency with LMS such as Moodle, Classe 365, Microsoft teams or others.
Networking Skills:
Establishing connections with professionals for industry integration.
