THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a full-time _General Labourer_ to join our growing team in Port Coquitlam.

This position is a great start for those seeking a fulfilling career in the Fire Protection industry As a General Labourer you will be responsible for various tasks including inspecting and testing Fire Extinguishers in our shop.


  • Key Responsibilities of the

General Labourer:
_

  • Inspecting and testing Fire Extinguishers.
  • Perform 6 year services and hydrostatic testing on Extinguishers that are due for service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assisting with other tasks in the shop environment
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training and staying up to date with industry standards, product and service changes, and industry best practices in order to deliver 'nextlevel' service to our valued clients.
  • Maintain certification in good standing with ASTTBC and or CFAA, if applicable.
  • Adhere to and promote the company's core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
  • Additional duties as they may arise.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs and stand for majority of shifts.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be selfmotivated, resourceful, and proactive.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and a positive friendly attitude.
  • A desire to become certified with ASTTBC and or CFAA is considered an asset.

PLEASE NOTE:
Work hours are Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
