Job Description:

What you'll be doing


As a Direct Investing Specialist Associate you will provide proactive and strategic support to the Direct Investing Specialist with sales initiatives in their assigned markets.

You will promote and sell products to existing and potential clients while contributing to the overall growth of IE's market share and play a pivotal role in creating operational efficiency to provide direct resolutions to IE clients.

How you'll succeed- Demonstrate proactive support to analyze reports and proactively uncover potential opportunity for market share growth of Investor's Edge and communicate these findings to the Direct Investing Specialist.

Follow up on non-funded accounts based on reports generated by senior leadership.

Keep up to date on market trends, policies, and procedures affecting CIBC online brokerage products/services.- Provide excellent customer service to clients by contacting existing and potential clients to sell IE products/services.

Resolve complex onboarding issues for new clients to avoid delays in opening accounts and ensure smooth process flow. Ensure complete and accurate data is being gathered and logged.

Seek opportunities to delight clients by going above and beyond what is expected- Demonstrate teamwork and strong communication skills through participating in sales meetings, training sessions and seminars and presentations.

Assist Banking Centre frontlines with opening of complex accounts. Collaborate with banking centre employees to enhance client engagement in Investor's Edge.

Establish and maintain contact and teamwork with call centre, ISI sales and other CIBC partners to ensure deliver meets clients' needs and timelines.
