Indigenous Engagement Advisor Job Opportunity

This role is focused on supporting indigenous engagement initiatives and fostering positive relationships with local Indigenous communities.

• Build trust and rapport with community members through regular meetings, events, and cultural activities.
• Collaborate with the Indigenous Implementation Committee to develop strategies for community engagement and collaboration.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related administrative role or equivalent experience working within an Indigenous organization or government department.
  


• In-depth understanding of the social, economic, and historical context of BC's Indigenous peoples.
  


• The ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences using multiple formats (e.g., presentations, reports).
