Description

Responsibilities:

Receive and analyze customer orders and determine the most efficient method of transportation
Coordinate with carriers to schedule and track shipments
Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or concerns
Enter data into the AS400 system accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with suppliers
Utilize supply chain knowledge to optimize routing and minimize costs
Assist in resolving any transportationrelated problems or delays

Experience:

Previous experience in a dispatching role preferred
Familiarity with AS400 or similar transportation management systems
Knowledge of supply chain operations, including 3PL (thirdparty logistics)
Ability to analyze freight data and make informed decisions
Proficient in using phone systems and other communication tools
Strong typing skills for accurate data entry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
