Role
- The Civil Maintainer
- Mobile Equipment is responsible to perform general maintenance for buildings, structures and grounds, inspecting and coordinating timber works, operating different types of equipment, performing semispecialised civil, electrical and mechanical works to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of canal structures.
Responsibilities - Complete maintenance tasks associated with the proper housekeeping of buildings and Seaway grounds throughout the year, such as grass cutting, snow removal, landscaping, minor repairs and painting.
- Operate light to heavy equipment, vehicle and tools related to duties, including minor rigging, and log the working conditions of these as required.
- Assist in vessel transit by handling mooring lines and securing ships in lock chamber or approach walls.

Experience and knowledge
- Minimum of three (3) years related general and civil maintenance experience.
Education
- High school diploma and specialized training in Civil Maintenance
Certifications
- Valid DZ (ON) or Class 3 (QC) driver's licence with an insurable driving record

Hours of work:40 per week
Salary range:
$CAN34.98/hour (min) to $CAN37.82/hour (max)
