In your role, you will:

Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, training on a regular basis to direct reports.
Assigns work, priorities and communicate expected results to the team.
Defines individual workload and resources required to deliver projects.
Supports employees in enabling them to reach their goals.
Solves problems and identifies those for which consultation is required.
Maintains constant cross functional and interdepartmental communication.
Holds regular departmental meetings on project advancement, goals, and priorities.
Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Approves project schedule and allocates team members and resources.
Linking business priorities to strategic and department objectives.
Develop and Controls department budget and quarterly forecast.
Recruits' personnel, oversees development and maintenance of staff competence in required areas. Identifies skill gaps and defines plan of action accordingly.
Performs PMP & PDP for employees directly under his/her supervision.
Manages conflicts and informs the Director of more complex cases.
Participates in the succession planning process.

Qualifications

You hold a Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering.
You have more than 12 years of experience in aerospace.
You have a minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial / or Supervision role.
You clearly adhere to and demonstrates Bombardier's Fundamental Values and Leadership Attributes.
You demonstrate strong leadership skills, judgment, flexibility & ability to influence others.
Inspire others, engage your team, and favor diversity in our workforce.
You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.
Flexible and able to adjust to changes in strategies and priorities.
You are autonomous, resultdriven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethic.
You have excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
You are results oriented, able to meet deadlines, comfortable to work under pressure.
You have a great deal of initiative and a passion to be part of a winning team.
You can work with all levels of the organization.
You are bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
