Description


The analyst position, under the supervision of the head-microbiologist of Lab'Eau-Air-Sol, consists of performing microbiological analysis according to the established sequence.

The analyst plays a central role in the success of the program and becomes a key player in our mandate to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable agriculture.

The analyst is responsible of a specific region, and in particular to:


  • Analyze samples on cassette by microscopy
  • Carry out the required identifications
  • Transmit data for report writing
  • Ensure the inventory of the sampling equipment in the territory
  • Inhouse coaching and training is provided by Lab'Eau-AirSol to meet the requirements of the program._
Required skills

  • Study in a related field
  • Significant experience in microscopy
  • Strong report writing skills
Assets

  • Experience in air quality and environmental microbiology

Working conditions

  • Schedule 20 hours per week
  • Fixedterm contract of 12 to 14 weeks,
    May until September
  • Hourly salary to be determined according to experience and training
  • Reimbursement of mileage expenses.

Contract length: 14 weeks


Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
