Full-Time Travel Coach
HoopLife Basketball Training Academy is currently seeking Experienced Basketball Coaches with 3-5 years of on-court experience who are dependable, professional and can work independently.
The individual chosen will also have the understanding they are required to work mínimal days throughout a month, outside of the city of Regina, Sk.
leading our HoopLife Clinics in numerous locations across provincial borders. Responsible for leading 4-8 HoopLife Clinics per month (All clinics are 2-days).
This is a full time position with opportunities available for weekdays and weekends, as well there are opportunities for working in the city including the HoopLife building.
What you'll do:
- Lead our outoftown Nation Clinics
- Ages 718 years old
- Drive to and from community locations
- Lead /coach clinic (Typical oncourt session: 68 Hours)
- Compensation Breakdown
- Compensated for coaching
- Compensated for travel (To and from location)
- Overnight Stay (Compensated for drive up)
- Hotel: Paid by HoopLife
- Per Diem ($100 /Day): Paid by HoopLife
- Gas: Paid by HoopLife
Our Values:
- Come prepared with dynamic basketball drills that allow for beginner, advanced and elite level training
- Enforce positivity. mistakes are a part of the journey, learn to love the progress
- Avoid static, nonmoving drills. Athletes should be active as much as possible unless receiving instruction
- Promote team play. Basketball is a 5man sport, develop all levels of the game in your approach
- Maintain atmosphere. Keep music playing throughout session / camp
- Build up character through positivity and strong goalorientated activities
- Be a servant leader, we are all in this together
- Take instruction from coaching lead
- Grab equipment from storage room when needed
- Deploy interpersonal skills with athletes, build relationships

- Dependability and reliability
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to cover coaching shifts
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Work individually and as a team with minimum supervision
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with staff and clients
- Work in a fastpaced environment
What is HoopLife?
HoopLife is the largest basketball skills training academy in Saskatchewan. We are based out of Regina and offer basketball and character development training to beginner and elite athletes.
HoopLife was founded in 2017 with the goal of bringing next level basketball training and a welcoming culture that athletes thrive in.
HoopLife also partners with communities, allowing for those without the same opportunities to reach new goals and put their imprint onto the game of basketball.
Since opening, we have seen unprecedented growth with thousands of kids coming to HoopLife. Our purpose is to develop every child into people of character on and off the court.
