They prepare students to be comfortable splicing, joining,and connecting wires to form circuits, and testing those circuits for integrityand safety. Students will learn more about how to position and installdistribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakerpanels and fuse enclosures and fiber optic systems or electrical generationsources. Also, interpreting electrical, mechanical, and architecturaldrawings, specifications, and applicable codes, to determine wiring layouts.
