The team you'll be part of

Network Infrastructure
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.

Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

Education Recommendations
Currently enrolled in the second, third, or fourth year of a bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with an accredited school in Canada

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

Work in a high-paced environment supporting Nokia's industry-leading network management platforms.
Work with Nokia's latest network management, automation, and network routing products.

Every day will be a new challenge and you'll get exposure to a wide variety of technologies used in industry-leading ISP networks.

Your skills in Linux, Java, and networking will be pushed to the limit and you'll surprise yourself with the knowledge you finish the semester with.

What is Nokia looking for from me

You have:

Skilled with Linux or eager to learn
Familiar with TCP/IP and network routing/switching
Troubleshooting software or network problems
Scripting (bash, Python, Go, etc.)
Experienced with Java and the JVM

It would be nice if you're:

Someone who thrives under pressure
Selfdriven, especially when working from home
