H&H Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Estimator.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work effectively in a multitasking multidisciplined team environment and support other estimators and project managers in the department
Develop an estimate strategy and scope breakdown structure to support the development of each estimate including quantity takeoffs, sketches and review/interpret project drawings & specifications
Utilize construction estimating software to compile detailed estimate information
Determine estimated construction durations for job forecasting and project scheduling
Solicit and review subcontractor/supplier quotations, followup with scope and pricing clarifications and resolve issues
Participate in estimate approval, project planning and scheduling meetings with management

Abilities and Skills:

Good knowledge of Word, Excel
Good knowledge of B2W, or any database estimating software an asset
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Common sense, concentration, ability to read and understand drawings, selfassurance, responsible attitude, and leadership qualities
