The Position


Reporting to the General Manager and Manager of Human Resources, this position will play a key administrative role for our office located in Abbotsford, British Columbia.


Responsibilities

  • Participate and Assist Managers with recruitment and selection process
  • Participate with the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientations and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed
  • Participate in job fairs and host inhouse recruitment events
  • Provide administrative support to managers and Human Resources department as required
  • Support Human Resource Director/Manager with all transactional HR functions and special projects
  • Prepare materials for new employee orientation sessions, staff development, and other employee communications, as assigned
  • Organize, maintain, and coordinate employee personnel files in their proper locations
  • Administer and organize social events
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Post Secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management
  • Proficiency with UKG software desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 36 13 years' Human Resources experience.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
  • Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
