Description

We are looking for a dynamic, guest services oriented individual with a strong work ethic to join our Front Desk team.

Reporting to the Manager, this full-time role will primarily be assisting guests with check-in/check-out experience, making new reservations, answering phones and answering guest questions such as directions,dining recommendations.


Key Responsibilities
Offers guests assistance.

  • Responsible for resolving customer relations issues.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel booking policies and services.
  • Must respond to and followup on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel's services and accommodations.
  • Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
  • Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and claims
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Handle wakeup calls
  • Provide customer service
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs

Previous experience in a hotel is considered an asset.
