Currently, SMS/TRIGO is providing support to the largest Primes, Tier-1s, and Tier 2s while expanding its service portfolio to include quality management services since the acquisition by TRIGO GROUP, INC.

in January 2019.

General Summary:


Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, The Quality Inspector's mission is to ensure that the product is manufactured according to the demands of the customer Engineering department, customer specifications and Quality standards, while respecting health and safety requirements.

The incumbent will work onsite in Mirabel Henry-Giffard).


Essential Job Functions:


  • Support the Production by delivering the technical information necessary for the realization of the work.
  • Ensure the conformity of the work carried out according to the requests of the Engineering department, the customer's specifications and the Quality standards.
  • Report nonconformities, follow up and certify repairs.
  • Ensure that the tools used by the Production are calibrated.
  • Conduct preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems, and verify operational operation.
  • Perform final inspections and verify documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge of:


  • Mechanics
  • Office Suite
  • The use of measurement tools
  • SAP and PLM
  • Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset

Required Education (including certifications):


  • Academic background: hold a Diploma of College Studies or BS degree in maintenance or aeronautical assembly or equivalent.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in aeronautics is required.
  • Master technical English and French
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Auto Insurance

Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status required

Sous supervision générale et relevant du directeur des opérations qualité, l'inspecteur qualité a pour mission de s'assurer que le produit est fabriqué selon les exigences du service d'ingénierie du client, les spécifications du client et les normes de qualité, tout en respectant les exigences de santé et de sécurité.

Le titulaire travaillera sur place à Mirabel Henry-Giffard).


FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES - Les fonctions essentielles sont les tâches de base qu'un employé doit être en mesure d'exécuter, avec ou sans accommodement raisonnable.

  • Soutenir la production en fournissant les informations techniques nécessaires à la réalisation du travail.
  • Assurer la conformité des travaux effectués selon les demandes du bureau d'études, les spécifications du client et les normes de qualité.
  • Signaler les nonconformités, faire un suivi et certifier les réparations.
  • S'assurer que les outils utilisés par la Production sont calibrés.
  • Effectuer des inspections préliminaires et progressives de la structure et des systèmes de l'aéronef et vérifier le fonctionnement opérationnel.
  • Effectuer les inspections finales et vérifier la documentation.
  • Participer aux activités d'amélioration continue.

  • Mechanics
  • Suite bureautique
