Veoneer Safety Systems, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as **an Assembler/Inspector.

What you'll do

  • Operate production line equipment.
  • Investigate abnormal product and process conditions along with line stoppage issues.
  • Perform equipment changeovers.
  • Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety guidelines.
  • Load and maintain raw material supply for the production line.
  • Complete daily production logs.
  • Communicate with operators within and across other shifts.
  • 5S Clean and maintain work area and complete total productive maintenance (TPM).
  • Respond to equipment alarms during start/stop conditions.
  • Record and input production data into computer work stations.
  • Collaborate and work effectively within a team.
  • Identify problem solving opportunities and provide suggestions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

  • Ability to understand written instructions and all visual aids.
  • Ability to understand abnormal conditions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Quick learner and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, a quality conscious mindset and a zero defects attitude.
  • Previous experience in electronic and mechanical assembly is an asset.
