Procurement Analyst - Blainville, Canada - Imperial Dade

Ralik, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a Procurement Analyst role open in Blainville.Ralik is a trusted partner specializing in the sale and distribution of cleaning, packaging, shipping and security products, which distinguishes itself by putting the customer experience at the heart of its actions and decisions.
This position requires full on-site presence from Monday to Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the supply of merchandise (analyzing and placing orders for automatic purchases, checking inventory balances, verifying prices with suppliers as well as supplier delivery dates and conditions).
- Perform product research and comparative analysis with suppliers.
- Negotiate cost reductions with suppliers.
- Participate in maintaining the balance between supply and inventory (try to reduce stockouts and shortages of goods, ensure replenishment of critical quantities and stockouts, monitor delivery schedules, etc.).
- Followup with suppliers.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks such as participating in team meetings, responding to requests for information, entering data into the system, participating in supplier changes, counting and accounting during general stocktaking).
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED required, college diploma (DEC) in business management or economics is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Bilingual (French and English) both spoken and written. Employee needs to be able to communicate with the head office, outside vendors, and suppliers etc.
- Customer experience oriented.
- Willingness to learn.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Ability to manage priorities and exercise good judgment.
