About MacCosham Inc.

MacCosham has been providing rail yard terminal services for over 50 years and is experienced in the management of a variety of yard configurations.

In addition to our rail intermodal terminal services, including lift-on/lift-off of containers and hostler services, we also operate several container and chassis repair depots associated with rail yard terminal services, with a full range of mechanical, welding and associated repair services.

MacCosham Inc. is looking for a full-time, permanent Supervisor Intermodal Operations to join our growing team in Regina, SK.

The Role

Evaluate ways to reduce operating cost without impairing the overall operation
Monitor the sitewide operation and resolve site technical problem's
Provide regular feedback and attend weekly meetings with the client
Collect data and identify the critical operating parameters
Facilitate the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe, secure, and fair work environment
Perform safety audits and assist in procedural updates
Suggest modifications to optimize the process and ensure stable operations
Manage chemical spills cleanups and eliminate workplace hazards
Work and build trains according to railroad guidelines
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other dept.

Qualifications:

Posses a Saskatchewan drivers license with a clean driving record
Pass a criminal background check
23 years previous supervisor experience in production/operational environment
Posses a strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Able to foster continuous improvement in safety, quality, and cost reduction
Creative problem solver and strong time management skills
Have a excellent working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel
Experience in Oasis, Nexus and Tyes software is a definite assist
