  • Travel: Commercial flight from Edmonton to Prince George and Shuttle to site supplied Prince George to lodge
  • Shift: Split shift (10 Hours)
  • Daily Wages: $220 (less taxable deductions)
  • Drug & Alcohol, and Safety training is a requirement for preaccess
  • Premium Lodge accommodation and meals are included.

Position Summary:


  • You are a dynamic and reliable person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You are committed to quality assurance and safety.
  • During your mandate with Sodexo, you will be responsible for sorting laundry items by label and loading the washing machines with bedding, surgical gowns, garments etc.
  • You will be responsible for adding detergent and other cleaning products to the washer and adding germicidal/disinfectant solutions as necessary.
  • You will need to adjust the water temperature and turn on the washer, take out the clean and wet items and place them in dryers for the measured time cycle.
  • You will be attending training programs (classroom and virtual) as needed, comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures, perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned as required
  • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is required. No work experience is required.

  • One year of experience preferred
  • Ability to use tools and equipment and to perform the physical aspects of the job
