Empty headingHotel Grand Pacific is looking for an experienced Dishwasher to assist our close-knit Kitchen team on a full-time, permanent basis.

An independent property located on Victoria's beautiful inner harbour, we provide a professional and supportive work environment.

All members of the Stewarding team have an important role to play in making sure our guests have an excellent dining experience at banquet functions and in our gorgeous Fathom Restaurant.


Duties:


  • Clean dishes, pots, equipment and the kitchens to established standards
  • Operate the dishwasher and check finished dishes for cleanliness
  • Sweep and mop the floor regularly
  • Keep all kitchen areas clean and organized
  • Sort garbage and keep the garbage disposal area tidy
  • Adhere to established safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:


  • Dishwashing or cleaning experience in a restaurant environment
  • Organized and efficient with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work well with others and follow instructions
  • Clear verbal communication skills
  • Responsible and adaptable to changing demands
  • Accountable with a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Comfortable working on your feet and able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
