Network/Deskside Support Specialist
Onsite role - Sites in Mississauga, Ontario & Cobourg, Ontario - need to travel between both
• Field Services Technician (Plant Support) Job Role:
o This is a Field Network and Deskside Services Support resource with Windows 10 Deskside, Network, telco, basic cellular IMAC Skills
o Ability to work autonomously and work with minimal direction from with remote Engineers
o Resource will provide general IMAC (Install, move, add, change) Support and basic troubleshooting for network , telco and server devices Delivery direction and remote Network Engineers
o Resources will support the field plant sites and troubleshoot + provide IMAC of server, basic wireless, network and telco equipment devices under the direction of service Delivery and remote Network Technicians
o Resource will perform/complete site assessments as needed sites for Network connectivity / Network upgrades and the replacement of devices as needed for the client sit
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• On Site Support, using ServiceNow Ticket System handling problems ranging from reboots to hardware replacement.
• Laptops, desktops, Cisco phones, servers, switches, changing tapes in backup systems in
Data Centers.
Basic app support (connectivity)
• Troubleshooting network and Wi‐Fi WAP issues. (WIFI/WAP are a bonus.. not required)
Manufacturing experience is a nice to have.
