You're the kind of person who loves to tackle a stack of work, making sure information gets where it needs to go, when it needs to be there.

We need a go-to person like yourself to support our Provincial Contact Center Travel team as a Web Support Agent.

Along with providing administrative support for travel products, you'll be responsible for staying on top of knowing all of AMA's products and services and promoting them to our members.

You're a people person too, who knows everyone needs to be treated like a friend or family member.


Setting:
This position allows you to work from home.

Given the high volume and fast pace of the role, your at-home workspace needs to be a dedicated one that is free of any distractions.

You will also have access to information that must be kept confidential, so a private space is necessary to ensure the safety and security of all our members.


WHAT MOVES YOU

  • You're passionate about travel (duh) and love the idea of helping others see the world whether it's an exotic and faroff destination or a road trip to a provincial park.
  • You are an organized and efficient worker nothing's better than a stack of papers to work through every morning to keep you busy and focused.
  • You've got mad skills when it comes to data entry and processing requirements in a fastpaced environment.
  • Your attention to detail is second to none. Nothing gets past your eagle eye
  • You have strong knowledge of Travel Application Systems and Travel Products. Bonus points if you have familiarity with ClientLinq and Apollo
  • You enjoy being a part of a team whose experience and expertise is there to tap into, and you like sharing your own knowledge and skills as well.
  • You welcome the opportunity to face a challenge headon and know how to handle even the toughest situation with patience and grace.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to the Supervisor, Travel & Member Services, Contact Center
  • Provide online booking and maintenance support, including troubleshooting online booking tools.
  • Fulfill data and processing requirements and clerical support for Member Services and Travel products and services.
  • Assist with ticketing support for online bookings and Travel Counsellors.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You're at least 18 years old with a high school diploma.
  • You're able to acquire an updated Police Information Check (PIC).
  • You have a minimum of 12 years in an Administrative Capacity.
  • You have a travel background with airline ticketing experience.
  • Having worked in a contact centre environment is a strong asset.
  • Your awesome attitude and genuine desire to help people is what matters most in this job.
