Technical Sales Representative - Concord, Canada - Maple Industrial Products Inc.

This role is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets through selling welding, cutting and thermal spray products to new and existing clients within GTA.

This position will report to the Business Development Manager and will work from their office in Vaughan, Ontario.


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sale of Welding machines, accessories, filler material, and consumables to end users.
• Develop and execute sales plans through market analysis
• Identify new revenue generating opportunities
• Identify new product and services that will meet clients' needs
• Develop presentations, proposals, quotations and participate in tradeshows as required to secure timely business
• Negotiate and close sales. "Hunter" and "Closer" mindset is a must.
• Provide market feedback

Qualifications and Requirements:

• College Diploma in Welding or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience in welding industry
• Minimum 2 years progressive Outside sales experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and able to work independently
• Proven background in building and maintaining solid relationships
• Customer & Solution oriented
• Experienced in responding to RFQ's and developing customer quotations
• Experienced in setting annual sales metrics and targets
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and CRM

Will be required to travel throughout GTA. Own vehicle and a valid driver's license is necessary. Willingness to travel and be flexible
with working hours


Job Types:

Salary:
$18.00-$30.00 per hour
