What you will do:

People Leader:

  • Conducts regular assessment of demand intake, prioritization, and ensures a balanced team workload.
  • Develops plans to conduct regular assessments, updates, improvement, and additions to the Control Systems support knowledge base.
  • Ensure Control Systems support team activities align with internal standards and procedures.
  • Uphold and ensure continual improvement of Management of Change practices pertaining to changes to the equipment and software.
  • Develop and completes annual plans for lifecycle management of Control System software, hardware, and operating systems
  • Defines Control System Support team capability and competency requirements and provides training and mentoring to address gaps.


Support:


  • Provides Tier 1, 2 and 3 support, performing troubleshooting and repair/replace activities and preventative activities.
  • Ensure that the hardware is properly maintained and operating below any thresholds and performs preventative maintenance checks and rollover tests.
  • Implements lifecycle maintenance and replacement plans for the Control system software, hardware, and operating systems.

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Ensure systems follow Enbridge specifications, policies, applicable industry standards, and vendor specific requirements for existing and new equipment as it pertains to cyber security.
  • Ensure that standard methodologies in the delivery and maintenance of systems are followed.

Knowledge Base:

  • Create and maintain up to date knowledge base documentation including asset information, architecture diagrams, processes, and procedures

Management of Change:

  • Adhere to management of change practices pertaining to changes to the equipment and software
  • Conducts due diligence assessments of change requests.
Project

Support:


  • Participate in Capital projects for all Control Systems system related projects and provides Control Systems domain expertise in designing, implementing project changes to the Control Systems system.
  • Lead and/or participate, as a senior resource, in the analysis, configuration, modifying, testing, implementation, documentation and training of system functionality

Who you are:

You have:

  • 10+ years of directly related work experience within a gas pipeline environment, 5+ years of Supervisory exprience along with an undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation/Instrumentation Technology or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise environment and the security architecture along with the proven ability with work management and management of changes processes.
  • A valid driver's license that will be verified upon hire

You can:

  • Show strong knowledge of RTU, PLC, network routing, switching, and end device communications in addition to Control Systems IT infrastructure including network, workstations and servers
  • Exhibit previous project experience delivering Control Systems, HMI and other ICS solutions

You are:

  • An excellent technical writer and verbal communicator who has outstanding time management and multitasking skills in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced with Backup and Disaster and Recovery procedures while also showcasing strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong with the MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook while having working knowledge of VM ware tools and virtual environments
  • Flexible and adaptable to change while also having excellent analytical, problem solving (including root cause analysis) skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships

The following are considered assets:

  • Strong network administration skills
  • Familiarity with OPC, MODBUS and BSAP telemetry protocols
  • Proficiency in database administration
  • Working knowledge of Service Now

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in typical office environment
  • Predominantly office based in the field office located in Tecumseh Gas Storage near Mooretown, Onatrio. Minutes from Sarnia, Ontario and within a 90minute drive from Windsor or London, Ontario
  • Field travel
  • 25% of the time
  • Must be willing to participate in after hours on call rotation
  • Work independently and/or in a team setting on a variety of projects with mínimal supervision
