Description

Purpose:

To support the office of Indigenous Initiatives with the review of the Indigenous Framework of York University.

The purpose of this important review is to evaluate the impact of the Framework in relation to its ten stated principles, and to inform a way forward.

The student will support the office in a variety of ways, including scheduling, reviewing, editing, and collection of data, while improving their research and collaboration skills.


Education:

Must be a current student. starting work within six months of graduation or returning to school in September.


Experience:


Previous relevant experience with research methods and experience with qualitative or quantitative data collection and analysis will be an asset.

Lived experience as an Indigenous person navigating university structures and spaces is
considered an asset.

Must live in Ontario during their work placement.
