QUALITY MANAGER - 6 Months - 1 Year Contract

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the leadership and safety of quality team members
Coordinate FSQA programs and maintain certification
Manage the supplier food safety program
Manage nonconformance programs with team
Review of ON HOLD product and resolution
Respond to all customer complaints and make recommendations and implement corrective actions
Provide training to direct reports to ensure all program specifications are met
Coordinate activities required for government and customer audits
Manage department expenses including supplies and equipment
Perform other duties as required

Education, Experience

Bachelor of Science degree
Minimum 510 years managerial experience in a food processing environment
Strong analytical, written/verbal communications, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Strong understanding of the sanitation process in a food manufacturing facility
