Toonie Tours is currently looking for Bike Tour Guides to join our team and represent their local community.

Toonie Tours embraces a performance-based compensation model to keep Tour Guides at the top of their game. We are looking for people who love Canada and know all about their communities


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Creative
  • Learn, research, design, and personalize tours and stories to be authentically presented.


  • Leadership

  • Meet, welcome, and lead tour groups of 1025 customers.


  • Customer-Service

  • Provide local recommendations and tips for outoftown travelers, and customers less familiar with your community.
  • Be the local Toonie Tours Expert
  • Represent Toonie Tours, your community, and tour guides in general to the public. You are actively involved in your community and have that wanderlust spirit.
  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Key Attributes

  • Communicative and Social
  • Strong verbal communication skills, ability to present and speak loudly, personable, and approachable. We are looking for fluent Englishspeaking Tour Leaders and welcome additional languages to join our offerings.


  • Entertaining and Positive

  • Exception storytelling skills, capture the attention of the group, and has a great sense of humor.
  • Selfdriven / Selfstarter / High Performer
  • Works well in a performancebased compensation model. Is recommendable and commands 5star reviews.


  • Flexible & Confident

  • Adapts well to varying circumstances as the group needs change with the alwayschanging outdoor environment.
  • Punctual shows up early for every tour, without fail.
  • Physically fit (can manage 5 km of walking in 2.5hrs, while speaking and presenting)
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Freelance

Contract length: 4 months

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week


Salary:
$16.00-$80.00 per hour
