Key Responsibilities:
Parent company:
- Supervise the daytoday accounting duties, including AR, AP, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Prepare and file GST and PST returns on a monthly basis.
- Assist in monthend financial and management report preparation and yearend accounts audit and review.
- Assist with the due diligence and closing adjustments in any assets, company and business acquisitions.
- Prepare the consolidated financial statements for all companies in the group.
- Coordinate activities of external audit.
- Assist in overviewing the compliance of the banks' covenants and preparing compliance certificates on a regular basis.
- Evaluate and improve existing accounting and internal control system.
- Oversee the tax and regulatory reporting and compliance. Coordinate with accountants for tax planning.
- Keep the books for the subsidiaries, including VAT filing assistance to accountants,
- Prepare and handle intercompany transactions/billings among the parent company and subsidiaries.
- Prepare and/or coordinate with the local accountant to prepare the monthly financial statements and management reports for the parent company.
- Work with the local accountant to close the books and prepare the financial statements for year end audit/review and bank compliance, if any.
- Coordinate with the local tax accountant to report and pay the payroll, sales, corporate income tax, and other governmental returns.
- Coordinate with the subsidiaries' Manager to prepare annual budgets.
- Prepare cash flow analysis of each subsidiary on a regular basis.
Qualifications and abilities:
- CPA designation for 5+ years.
- At least a few years of being a manager supervising the whole accounting team.
- Full cycle accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in international accounting, particularly transfer pricing arrangement.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate and timely results.
- Excellent command of written and verbal English.
Pay:
$85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (required)
