Location:

This position is based out of Laval or Montreal. We are also open to consider other locations.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Client Relationship Building

  • Sustain a robust pipeline of relevant, qualified regional opportunities that meet Kiewit's market objectives.
  • Monitor projects, analyze results, and maintain existing client relationships to facilitate communication on current and future project performance.
  • Serve as client advocate for all responses to client request for proposals (RFPs) and request for information (RFIs) and work solicitation inquiries; present to management argument for go/no go decisions.
  • Participate in regional clientbased events as well as bus. developmentoriented regional conferences and other client events.
  • Become and remain continually informed on industry developments and the competitive landscape.

Specific Opportunity Pursuit

  • Collaborate with marketing and other stakeholders to write value propositionbased proposals that crisply articulate our differentiators to our clients.
  • Communicate with the client before, during and after the proposal process to ensure our service offerings meet their objectives

Internal Kiewit Sales Alignment

  • Complete and update pursuit data in the SAP based CRM tool for timely use by all other business leaders and business development professionals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop strategic and focused business collateral
  • Collaborate with Kiewit market leadership for pursuit strategy.
  • Develop and support longrange sales forecasting

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Engineering or Business Management Degree is an asset.
  • 10 plus years of experience in the marketplace or similar markets.
  • Able to rapidly develop tactical plans to position Kiewit in these markets.
  • Proven, verifiable, track record of leading successful sales pursuits
  • GC, EPC, etc.
  • This individual must be well organized and have a high energy level. He or she must be a perceptive selfstarter who can implement effective sales and marketing programs and make adjustments for industry trends, market swings, and competitor activities.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor that builds trusting relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.
  • Interact effectively both professionally and socially with people of all levels.
  • Individual must conduct himself/herself in a manner which will reflect favorably upon the company, enhance its reputation and promote good will. The successful individual will have a reputation for integrity, maturity, and sound business judgment.
  • Up to 50% travel required.
