Distribution Drafter (Hybrid):

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Drafter for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in our Edmonton, Alberta office.


Roles and Responsibilities:


Required Qualifications:


  • Diploma or degree in an accredited drafting program (Engineering Design or Drafting Technology)
  • Strong understanding of computeraided design (CAD) software with emphasis on AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills will be critical for completing tasks
  • Strong written and oral communications skills

Desired Qualifications:


  • Reliable selfstarter who takes ownership of assigned tasks
  • Willing and able to learn new software packages, procedures, and client standards
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and/or civil engineering concepts would be considered an asset
