Job Description Hotel Maintenance Technician - Handyperson**
Rate of Pay:Maintenance Technician - $24.50 per hour

Overnight Maintenance Technician - $25.50 per hour

What will you be doing?

Service and repair duties of guestrooms and public areas
Attending to guest calls
Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property's facilities and equipment
Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action
Maintenance of health club facilities including hot tubs and pools
To be health and safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment
To be a member of emergency response team
Assist with rooms maintenance team as required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Your experience and skills include**:

Previous experience is required
Understanding of mechanical functions required
General handyperson skills are required
Pool Operator Level 1 mandatory
Ability to use various hand and power tools
Must be team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work independently with little supervision

Physical aspects of the job include but are not limited to:

Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Very frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
