Junior Software Project Manager - Edmonton, Canada - Softworks Group

Description

The Junior Software Project Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting Alinity implementation projects and ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from onboarding to full utilization of our software.

The ideal candidate will have recently completed their PMP certification, will demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for ensuring client success. They will bring a consultative approach to steer implementation projects and will become an expert in the Alinity feature set over their first year with us.

Technical software development skills are not required for this role.

To be considered for this role you MUST be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

This position is hybrid and based in Edmonton, Alberta. You will be expected to work primarily in-office during your training period (about 3 months) after which you will be welcome to work from home 2 or 3 days per week.

You will:

• Develop and maintain project plans using Zoho Project(tm) software
  
• Level resource utilization across projects to resolve over and under-allocation scenarios
  
• Create project documentation including requirement descriptions, status reports for clients, and change requests
  
• Become an expert user in the Alinity(tm) software system and lead requirements gathering workshops and train clients
  
• Work closely with other team members to communicate requirements and confirm technical solutions proposed fit business scenarios identified
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• A Project management (PMP) certification
