Description

We are looking for a responsible individual to drive our Ford Transit Van to make local daily pick-ups and deliveries.


Responsibilities:


  • Safe operation of the vehicle
  • Scheduling of regular maintenance
  • Keeping fluids topped up
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
  • Preparing orders for daily deliveries
  • Maintaining positive relationships with our vendors' staff members
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle at our facility and at our vendors' facility
  • Assisting with daily operations in the distribution center when not driving the vehicle, including, but not limited to: Material handling and lifting up to 50 lbs; Loading and unloading shipments; Order fulfilment, including picking and packing customer orders; Maintaining a clean environment, which includes participating in garbage removal, breaking down cardboard boxes, putting away inventory, and floor sweeping; Safe operation of equipment including box cutters, tape dispensers, pallet jacks, step stools, rolling staircases, and short Aframe ladders

Requirements:


  • Must be over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
  • Must have a Valid G Class Driver's License
  • Must have a clean driving record (a driver's abstract will need to be provided)
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. on a regular basis Hardtoed footwear must be worn
  • Cutoff tshirts and tank tops are not permitted
  • Must arrive on time and work your entire shift unless arranged otherwise with your manager
Hours are MON - FRI; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (must be able to stay later when needed on weekdays)

Occasional Saturdays will be required
