Industrial Medics (EMR / PCP / ACP)
Industrial Paramedic Services (IPS) provides high level certified medical personnel and equipment nationwide We are committed to providing outstanding on-site medical care in the oil and gas, construction, and other industrial sectors
IPS is seeking skilled medics to be part of our team for immediate, on-call provincial Fire Response & Support, short-term and/or long-term upcoming projects within Alberta.
We have long-term and short-term projects, we also offer individuals the ability to take on small, local work.
- Ability to choose longterm and shortterm projects
- Small, local work opportunities for individuals
- 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation
- 32hour deployment for fire response
- Shifts include days, nights, and weekends Work hours typically range from 10 to 12 hours per day
Position Review & Responsibilities:
- Providing accessible responsive and integrated patient care.
- Performs assessments and attends to patient's injuries; determine a course of treatment within scope of practice.
- Effectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services
- Ensure all reporting and communication requirements are adhered to regarding incidents, injuries, and treatment.
- Maintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per governing body requirements. Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Must Have Requirements:
- Current (unrestricted) registration as an EMR/PCP/ACP with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP).
- Valid Class 4 or 5 unrestricted Drivers Licenses
- A current drivers abstract will be requested.
