Part-Time or Full-Time

White Wolf Homes is an award-winning custom home builder and developer based in Victoria, BC. We specialize in high-performance, design-forward homes and pride ourselves on craftsmanship, integrity, and strong client relationships.

We're seeking a detail-oriented, strategic Controller to oversee financial operations and support our continued growth. This role can be structured as part-time or full-time depending on the candidate.

About the Role

The Controller will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and proactive financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Oversee payroll and subcontractor payments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor job costing and project profitability
• Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Oversee GST, PST, WCB, and other regulatory filings
• Coordinate with external accountants and year-end review/compilation
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial systems
• Provide financial insights to support leadership decision-making

Qualifications

• CPA designation preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of accounting/financial management experience
• Experience in construction accounting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and professionalism
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
