    Sales Executive – Remote – QC, Canada

    We are hiring at Trendex for a Sales Executive to join our team

    About the role: Trendex Systems is hiring for a Sales Executive who works directly with existing and potential clients to actively seek out sales opportunities and work leads to boost top-line revenues, grow the customer base, and increase client satisfaction.

    The Sales Executive plays a critical role in the sales of our corporate Operational Technology SaaS solutions. The successful candidate will be ambitious with a proven track record of developing a strong pipeline, surpassing sales targets, and generating new recurring revenue by engaging with key decision-makers and building trusted relationships with new potential customers.

    The successful candidate will be working remotely from home. We prefer a candidate who is bilingual in French and English.

    Here's a little window into our company: Trendex is part of Valsoft Corporation, an investment company that buys, enhances, and grows software businesses providing mission-critical services.

    Trendex is a software developer and service organization specializing in ERP software for gas and welding supplies distributors. They offer specialized, turnkey ERP software for industrial gas distributors. Trendex serves customers across North America and supports them through internet communication from their Head Office in Montreal, Canada. All their software is developed in-house and tailored to meet the needs of the North American market. They also sell hardware to their customers because it's programmed to work with their software.

    Trendex's ERP software can automate and streamline business functions like accounting procedures, inventory control, and purchasing, or specialized ones like cylinder tracking and hazmat calculations. Unifying these operational facets into one central system helps keep businesses more organized, saving valuable time and – ultimately – cutting down costs. This lifts some of the burdens off employees, improving efficiency, increasing accuracy, and ultimately enhancing operations.

    What your day will look like:

    • Actively communicate with sales leads generated from website downloads, sales emails, trade shows, live chat sessions, and product demo requests to qualify the sales lead, discover their needs, and offer products and services that will best match their needs.
    • Fully comprehend the value proposition of our Operational Technology products in order to qualify, schedule, and perform effective product sales demonstrations tailored to the client's needs.
    • Exceed sales quota and KPIs.
    • Analyze sales trends, identify market changes, and address deficiencies in the product line to increase sales.
    • Manage opportunities with timely and accurate notes, tasks, and documentation to effectively communicate the status of a client record in the pipeline.
    • Provide accurate forward-looking forecasts through sales pipeline analysis.
    • Travel to trade shows and professional conferences to represent the Trendex brand.

    About You:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Industrial ERP or Gas & Welding Distribution industry.
    • Minimum 2 years in a quota-carrying sales role.
    • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and goals.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (nice-to-have).
    • Previous experience with Salesforce.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical.
    • Ability to deliver presentations to a live audience both in person and online.
