Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator with Manufacturing experience - Orangeville, Canada - Avery Human Resources

Avery HR is currently recruiting experienced associates for a full-time role as a Shipper/Receiver for a client located in Orangeville.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production facility is required.

Day & afternoon shifts (rotating); from $20 per hour

The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities relating to:
Receiving of incoming goods
Picking and packaging of all outgoing customer orders
Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and NAFTA Documents
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages and discrepancies
Inventory of goods
General warehouse activities

Requirements:

2-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience in packaging, palletizing and skid wrapping
Valid Forklift certificate and experience loading/unloading trailers
Good computer skills with data entry experience
Possess manual dexterity, ability to lift >40 lbs.
Basic math and reading comprehension
Ability to follow workflow and schedules
Experience with scheduling & work flow
Experience arranging carriers & couriers / international shipping
Energetic, punctual, reliable and able to work as a team player
Organized and able to prioritize
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills

Shifts
8 hr. shifts
Day & Afternoon shift rotation - 2 week turn around
Monday - Friday with opportunity for overtime
