As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities.

We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.


This is a 12 month contract position. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Team Lead, USA with dotted line reporting to the Talent Acquisition Leader, Western Canada and Campus Talent Acquisition Lead Western Canada, the Campus Talent Acquisition Coordinator will coordinate and assist the Talent Acquisition team in executing all aspects of our North American campus and experienced recruitment needs.


You have strong coordination skills, are agile, able to manage a high volume of support requests, have outstanding attention to detail, are competent in managing data using MS Office (advanced level Excel skills) and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS - SuccessFactors), and have the proven ability to handle confidential matters.

This position location is Mississauga, ON.

  • Support the Campus Talent Acquisition team across North America in managing daytoday transactions in the recruitment process, such as:
  • Creating requisitions in the ATS
  • Posting jobs on career site and university/college job boards (as needed)
  • Scheduling interviews for hiring managers
  • Process background checks
  • Create and send offer letters
  • Coordinate campus events including career fairs, information sessions, conferences, student competitions and interview sessions as requested by the Campus Talent Acquisition team or the Business Managers
  • Coordinate internal events such as Student LunchnLearns and the Student Showcase
  • Manage conversion of coops/interns to next term / new graduate hires, while surveying hiring managers on student performance during work terms and surveying students on their experience at Hatch
  • Maintain and track data on scholarship recipients and scholar hiring, while ensuring that the program is managed effectively by the team
  • Maintain the integrity of data in the ATS and produce recruiting and hiring activity reports for management as requested

You bring to the role:

  • Minimum 5 years of administrative assistant / coordinator / event planning experience in a professional work environment; preferably in supporting HR or Talent Acquisition teams
  • College or university degree in in a related field preferred
  • Excellent technology skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ATS (e.g. SuccessFactors), videoconferencing technology (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Verbal & written fluency in English
  • Ability to be efficient, organized and manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Attitude of being a collaborative team player
  • Flexibility in managing shifting priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy to maintain data integrity
  • Ability to followup and followthrough on action items
  • Maintain discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of regular work hours to accommodate North American time zones
