Major Responsibilities:

To report directly to the Solid Wire Department Manger or Designate on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to Safely and efficiently operate the small packaging cell to process wire into finished product for small, light capacity spools
To sweep floors, clean machines, vacuum area
To conduct general housekeeping and continuous improvement projects
To perform tasks associated with facility maintenance
Abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric's Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of natural resources and the Health & Safety of all employees
To participate cooperatively as an employee within the company's GPMP and Merit Rating System.
To actively participate in company, staff or individual oneonone meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive cooperation strategies within the department as well as other departments across the company.
To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Consumables Department Manager or Designate in a timely and professional manner.

Education Skills and Aptitude:

Read, write and do general math well enough to keep the records associated with this job.
Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
Selfmotivated, safety and quality conscious; requiring mínimal supervision.
Be mechanically inclined.
Work well as part of a team and get along with people.
Must be regular and punctual at work.
Willingness to work various shifts to meet the needs of the business

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Forklift experience an asset
