Junior Facilities Manager - Burlington, Canada - INFINITY GROUP CONSTRUCTION
Description
The Junior Facilities Manager manages key client projects operating at a high level of customer service. Facilities management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.- Facility Service Manager for Western Canada based in Richmond, BC.
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
- Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
- Dispatch work orders to vendors and track progress
- Check completed work by contractors and vendors
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships
- Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
- Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
- Performance manage, develop and train staff
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
- Prepare and track facility budget
- Monitor expenses and payments
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing
- Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
- Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
- Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize costeffectiveness
- Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving
- Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- Some travel will be required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
