    Must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies. Must become familiar and work with SPS, 5S and CI activities. Product and process development in a matrix organization by performing the specific duties as follows:

    Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Responsible for outlined activities in the development of new products and processes. Reports to
  • Product Development Supervisor in Engineers
  • Follow the established product development methodology and AQP process report progress to AP Teams
  • Support program manager, participate in AQP program teams
  • Use and promote use of timelines, open issues matrix, identify responsibilities, closure dates and avoid repeat issues
  • Work with design groups internally and externally to transcribe blue prints for powder metal products.
  • Participate in process and product feasibility reviews.
  • Make recommendations for product and process design and development using actual or proxy data.
  • Conduct or participate in AQP Teams, work closely with suppliers, customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop timelines (Gantt Charts) and manage timely planning, execution of projects, report on deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Generate cost savings or continuous improvement projects, plan, execute and report on deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to product and process knowledge within the organization through research and development.
  • Support activities in the floor plan design for product line and generate alternatives for product & process flow
  • Consider lean manufacturing principles and automation in floor plan concepts and design
  • Support and participate in problem solving and trouble-shooting activities as required
  • Work with AQP team and vendors to conceptualize, develop and justify integration of automated operations
  • Support and execute all project tasks shown in automation project timelines, participate in run off and work with all required functional areas such as Maintenance, Operations, QA, HR
  • Ensures that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety Systems are met.
  • Our requirements :

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • UNIVERSITY DEGREE OR DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING OR MATERIALS SCIENCE.
  • SOME EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING, TOOLING, DESIGN AND AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY,
  • EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL APPROACH TO PROBLEM SOLVING.
  • GOOD INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITY TO WORK WELL WITH OTHERS.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • ENGLISH
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • EXCELLENT MATHEMATICAL SKILLS, UNDERSTANDING OF ANALYSIS AND SIMULATION REPORTS
  • REASONING ABILITY

  • EXCELLENT PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITIES.
