We also work with grocery retailers, mass merchandisers, drug channel, and food service customers across the country to create and produce a wide variety of private label branded products.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

HR and Office Administration

  • Fax, photocopy, and scan documents as required.
  • Receive and sort mail and ship courier.
  • Perform all HR administrative duties including preparation; maintenance of employee documents; track employee probationary periods; log all disciplinary and training records on SharePoint, etc.
  • Assist with other tasks as required.
  • Coordinate and implement the Company's social events, special events, and activities.

Recruitment and Orientation

  • Assist the HR Coordinator with the full recruitment cycle for all hourly employees.
  • Conduct telephone screening of hourly applicants.
  • Arrange and conduct interviews for hourly workers.
  • Execute the onboarding of new hires, including the completion of onboarding paperwork, the maintenance of onboarding materials, and deliverance of new employee orientation.

Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:


  • Working toward a diploma in HR management is an asset. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Ability to prioritize work and complete assignments in a manner that efficiently utilizes resources and optimizes departmental efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and work within tight time constraints in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to take initiative, work independently and have sound judgment.

  • Identify causes of problems and develop solutions to make effective, timely decisions.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Trophy's vision and mission. Understand how individual decisions and actions impact the needs of the department as well as overall corporate goals.

Work Environment:


  • The office work environment is open, provides adequate lighting, is temperature controlled and relatively quiet.
  • Sitting at a desk and computer terminal for extended periods of time each day (4 to 7 hours). Occasionally required to move around the office.

Job Type:
Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
$17.48 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
