The Cook of the Long-Term Care residence is responsible for ensuring that proper meals are prepared and served on time.Responsibilities
- Checks special diet orders for new admissions to ensure they are correct (as required).
- Responds to resident or family member concerns and ensures appropriate action is taken within decision-making authority and/or brings to the attention of the Food Services Manager/Supervisor.
- DIRECTS FOOD SERVICES WORKERS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES AND ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE OPERATION OF THE FOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT (AS REQUIRED).
