Recharge & Play Wellness Café is focused on providing something for the entire family: fun for the kids & relaxation for the parents.

The Playground Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the playground is running smoothly for events including open play, birthday parties, camps & childminding.

Responsibilities:


-Managing staff as necessary to promote efficiency & task completion

-Supervising families in attendance and keeping a safe, fun environment

-Clean & sanitize the facility before, during, & after playground bookings

-Organize & return supplies to proper storage areas after

-Maintain open communication with owners and other staff members

-Contacting guests regarding booking, protocols & invoicing

-Booking birthday parties

-Ensuring staff are taking breaks when needed, sending staff home or calling staff in according to the needs of the business

-Assisting with training new employees

-Filling in as playground attendant when needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• CPR Level C certified
• Current vulnerable sector report
• Education within Child & Youth Sectors, Education, Early Childhood Education appreciated but not required

Skills:

• Ability to work independently & efficiently
• Strong leadership skills
• Outgoing personality
• Experience in business management and/or HR
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Enthusiasm and passion for interacting with children of all ages and abilities
• Basic computer skills as scheduling, clockins & curriculum are all in electronic format
• Excellent customer service

Position is currently part time possibly leading to full time as business needs require. Hour expectation is currently 15-25 hrs per week.
