About the opportunity:


To meet the needs of our constantly evolving clientele, Best Way Stone is looking for an energetic, positive, results-driven Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager will lead the outside sales team to meet and exceed company objectives and targets.

The incumbent will provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the sales team to ensure they are successful in their role.

The Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies that reflect the organization's goals by utilizing key metrics to enhance the growth of assigned territories in addition to developing new territories to expand and grow the business.


This position is based out of the BWS Uxbridge Office; however, it is expected that this position will require a fair amount of travel within Ontario as well as to our head office in Woodbridge.


  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a similar clientfacing sales role, within the Construction, Landscaping or Manufacturing industries
  • 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage, train and develop employees.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong customer service experience, coupled with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Familiar using a CRM system to maximize communication and efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • Some of the responsibilities for this role include:_
  • Develop business plans that reflect organizational goals that focus on sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals set by the organization.
  • Actively manage sales performance and develop sales force competence of the team to ensure goals and targets are achieved.
  • Nurture, enhance, manage and maintain customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and strengthen the Best Way Stone product range and help launch new products.
  • Responsible for the training and development of the sales team to promote the organization's products, brands, and services. Includes coaching and mentoring the sales teams regularly to ensure business needs are met.
  • In collaboration with other stakeholders, establish market and customer strategies for new and existing markets.
  • Review daily/weekly reports utilizing the CRM System.
  • Maintain the key activities and opportunities in CRM on a daily/weekly basis.
  • In conjunction with other departments work to develop the annual budget and have accountability for the targets and goals.
  • Participate in related trade show activities throughout the industry as required at both the local and regional levels.
  • Operate within travel budget guidelines set by SKF and achieve annual sales goals.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
