Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, Full Time

Universal Plumbing and Heating is currently hiring full-time Journeyman and Apprentice Plumber of all levels to join our growing team If you are reliable, energetic, and have a willingness to learn - we want you The successful applicants will be responsible for planning, installation, repair, and maintenance for our commercial and residential plumbing systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with diagnosing problems, repairing problems, and fixing/installing different materials and equipment related to the field.
Must be able to work with a variety of materials and equipment (copper, ABS, PVC, PEX, Wirsbo, well pumps, circulating pumps, HRV's, boilers, heat exchangers, furnaces, heat pumps, etc).
Must be willing to work under many different conditions (outdoors, indoors, crawlspaces, heights, etc).
Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools in a safetyconscious manner.

Maintains a professional image by:

Following safety policies and procedures.
Abide by company standards of performance and professional attire.
Maintain a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
Maintain vehicle used for work, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to perform multiple technical tasks, including operating equipment, adhering to safety practices, and planning/managing projects as needed.
Experience in the trade an asset but not required.
Willingness to continue to learn in the field.
Valid driver's license and own vehicle for work.
Must have own hand and power tools.

Physical requirements

Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs.
Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, etc.

Salary:
$16.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:
